Advisory board members

Prof. Dr. habil. Markus P. Neuenschwander

Markus P. Neuenschwander received his PhD in psychology from the University of Berne, Switzerland and his habilitation in education and educational psychology from the University of Berne. He is the head of the Research Center for Learning and Socialization at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland and is professor at the Assembly of the Institute for Educational Sciences at the University of Basel (Switzerland). His research interests focus on the school-to-work transition and educational careers.

Prof. Dr. Lisa Pfahl

Lisa Pfahl is professor for Inclusive Education and Disability Studies at University Innsbruck, Austria.She studied sociology, philosophy and political science at the Freie Universität Berlin and completed her doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin. Her research interest lies in the causes and effects of social exclusion and social inclusion as well as the public emancipation of people with disabilities as human rights subjects. 

Prof. Dr. Lucinda Platt

Lucinda Platt is professor of Social Policy and Sociology at the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK. Her research focuses on the analysis of inequality and poverty within and between social groups, in the UK and internationally. She has published widely on topics relating to ethnicity, migration, child and adult disability, and child poverty and development. She is a member of the Panel for the IFS Deaton Review of Inequality and co-investigator on Understanding Society: the UK Household Longitudinal study.
